    Simple Search

For faster results you can use the search box on the top of each page. Just fill in your query and press the search button. By default, 10 results will be shown per page, ordered by relevance. You can browse the results pages using the numeric menu on the bottom of each results page. Words on the query string with 3 or less characters will be ignored. Stop words (common words like "the", "a", "an"...) will also be ignored.

    Advanced Search

You can improve your search experience by using advanced settings on your search queries. This can be done either by using the Advanced Search Form or by adding special characters to your search terms in order to be understood by our engine. If you use the Advanced Search Form you just have to type the search terms. If you are using the simple search box you have to format your query as stated above:
  • Any Words (Default): Results will include records that contain at least one of the search terms. This is the engine default behaviour. There is no need to add any characters to the search string, just type your search terms separated by a space.

Example: blue widgets. Returns records that include the word blue or the word widget or both words.

  • All the Words: Results will include records that contain all the words in your query. If you are using the simple search box you just have to add a plus sign (+) before all the search terms.

Example: +blue +widgets. Returns records that include both blue and widgets.

  • Exact Phrase: Results will include records that include the exact phrase you typed. If you are using the simple search box you just have to type your query between double quotes ("").

Example: "blue widgets". Returns records that include blue widgets in this exact order.

  • None of the Words: Will exclude all the results that include these words. Must be used in conjuntion with one of the previous. If you are using the simple search box you just have to add a minus sign (-) before all the exclusion terms.
Examples:
  • blue widgets -yellow. Returns records that include the word blue or the word widget or both words and do not include the word yellow.
  • +blue +widgets -yellow. Returns records that include both blue and widgets and do not include the word yellow.
  • "blue widgets" -yellow. Returns records that include blue widgets in this exact order and do not include the word yellow.
